FICCI is organising the 16th edition of its flagship event in the food processing sector, the 16th FOODWORLD India 2025, on May 20, 2025, at FICCI Federation House, New Delhi. This annual flagship event has been steered by FICCI's Food Processing Committee. Since its inception in 2005, it has received encouraging support from stakeholders, including major food sector companies, government officials, visionaries, international experts, and researchers. Over the years, it has evolved into an established forum for generating ideas for policy formulation and reflecting the sentiment within the sector.

India's food processing sector is at a transformative stage, influenced by evolving consumer preferences, technological advancements, and supportive policy measures. With the increasing demand for healthier, premium, and convenience-focused products, manufacturers must align their strategies with these trends while addressing rising input costs, supply chain inefficiencies, and regulatory complexities. Additionally, the rise of quick commerce and new retail formats is reshaping distribution channels, further increasing the demand for ready-to-eat and high-shelf-life products.
