Overview
The Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MoFPI), Government of India, is organizing the 4th edition of its flagship event, World Food India (WFI), from 25th to 28th September 2025 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, with FICCI as the National Event Partner. WFI 2025 will feature comprehensive plenary sessions, specialized sectoral seminars, dedicated country and state sessions, a dynamic global reverse buyer-seller meet, and engaging exhibitions.
The previous edition of World Food India, held from 19th to 22nd September 2024 at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, was a resounding success. It witnessed remarkable global participation, including 6 international ministerial delegations, 10 international official delegations, 20 country pavilions, and 2,390 foreign delegates. The event followed a comprehensive Whole-of-Government approach with active support from 9 Ministries and Departments of the Government of India, 8 associate organizations, and 26 States and Union Territories. It hosted 809 international buyers, 1,557 exhibitors, and facilitated over 18,000 buyer-seller meetings.
Building on this success, World Food India 2025 is expected to bring together global leaders from across the food processing industry including processors, equipment manufacturers, HoReCa players, logistics firms, cold chain operators, startups, innovators, and retailers to showcase their capabilities and explore collaborations.
