FICCI Young Leaders Forum
FICCI Young Leaders (FYL) Forum has been set up with the aim to work on Indiaā€™s growth with cross sectoral views, knowledge & background. FICCI Young Leaders Forum is aimed at encouraging the youth of the nation, the aspiring entrepreneurs /professionals to recognize and reinforce their role in the sustainable development of the country. With India's socio-economic landscape getting progressively transformed with young India's growing role in every sphere, it is imperative that the voice of youth starts influencing the decision-making process. The forum is to provide young entrepreneurs a platform to promote awareness and discuss upon new ideas.
FICCI Young Leaders forum is acknowledging the India's most talented young Leaders. This initiative is meant to encourage, identify and nurture promising future business leaders of India. India has a large youth population, which tends to be more optimistic and willing to take risks compared to the older population. Factoring the high percentage of young people in India with India's reputation as one of the fastest growing markets in the world, there are plenty of reasons to believe in a promising entrepreneurial future for the country. Yet the speed with which entrepreneurship can contribute to the growth of India depend on improvements in contextual conditions. Some of the areas where these conditions must improve include the efficiency within the government, simplifying tax laws, reforming investment regulations, addressing skill gap challenges, reducing the number of procedures required to start a business, increasing the interactions and collaboration among investors, aspiring or existing entrepreneurs, and advisers or educators.
FICCI Young Leaders Forum shall attempt to address the bottlenecks through continuous policy advocacy with active industry consultation and Government support. FICCI Young Leaders Forum is aimed at encouraging the youth of the nation, the aspiring entrepreneurs or professionals to indulge in FICCI's mainstay activities to recognize and reinforce their role in the sustainable development of the country.

The objective is to create platforms that nurture mindful dynamism, team work and cooperation among young leaders, consequently enhancing their capability. FICCI believes that todayā€™s youth are tomorrowā€™s leaders and hence it is of utmost importance that the young demography of India is reflected effectively through FYL & in policy deliberation.
Goal:
- Strengthening the promotion of entrepreneurship;
- Sharing information, lessons learned and innovative solutions;
- Educating the youth and societies about innovative principles and practices;
- Creating a network platform for young leaders to meet with each other, to share information and ideas, as well as to develop skills that leadership needs;
- Realizing the other goals related to building and fostering entrepreneurship all across the country.
