NEW DELHI: Commenting on the recently concluded visit of Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the US, Mr Harsha Vardhan Agarwal, President, FICCI said, “We see this visit as a giant leap forward in further cementing the economic relations between India and the U.S. The results driven agenda that was in focus during the discussions and the outcomes reflected in the joint statement issued underline the deepening convergence of commercial and strategic interests across multiple spheres. FICCI would like to compliment the two leaders for setting an ambitious trade target of US$ 500 billion by 2030 and for initiating discussions on a multi-sectoral bilateral trade agreement. We would work with our government is taking ahead the outlined commercial agenda and are committed to scale up economic engagement with the U.S. in a manner that is beneficial to both sides.”
